Off topic but:

My venerable 266 pentium which has spent the last two years overclocked
finally gave up the ghost today, causing me to invest in a new motherboard
and processor.

Windows95 of course is unable to see the cd drive, although it's there in
the bios. The drivers to allow it to see it are - yes - on the CD. Bugger.

The cure? wake it up in linux, copy the CD to a hard drive, install from
there. Good to see the boys at MS really thought that one through!

Cheers,

Neil
