Subject: Crap, can't overclock with IBM 20Gig HD on P75 50CT

Well, last night I tore apart my 50, and found out it has the P75 chip -
CRAP!

So I desoldered pin 15 on the one chip to bump it to 100Mhz.

Wouldn't boot. Ruh-roh. Couldn't see the IBM 20Gig HD anymore.

This morning, I threw the old IBM 4.3Gig HD in, and it booted fine. Throw
the 20Gig back in, and it doesn't see it.

Loading IBM's Disk Manager, you can hear it access the HD, but the tests
fail with "bad cable".

Resolder pin 15 back, and the drive shows up, boots into Win98 no problem.

Is there anyone else running the IBM 20Gig HD on a 50CT with a P75 that has
been able to overclock?
