After three fresh installs of Toshiba's product recovery CD (stop laughing you Linux people) I've managed to get it to work. First thing I installed Win98 from the product recovery CD, then installed the Win98SE update CD. Still didn't work. Then I found this on the Micro$oft support site: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q187/2/85.ASP This basically says "This behavior (suspend not working) can occur if you are using a NeoMagic 128XD video driver. This video driver is not supported in Windows 98." I found that the driver supplied on the Win98 product recovery CD is FAULTY. I didn't have much luck with the display driver from Toshiba Canada either, nor the one on the Win98SE CD. The Toshiba USA one appeared to work better with suspend / resume / hibernation. Then I found on Micro$ofts site a file called "4756us8.exe". This appears to be the "Windows 98SE ACPI update". After installing the new display driver, then installing this fix, my 110CT now suspends and resumes and hibernates and whatever else it can do with the IR monitor working, a network card installed, a 56k modem, both docked and undocked, etc, etc. Basically, it works. I bet someone will say something different about what drivers I found that worked for my Libby but hey thats life...
