Also, why not load your OS of choice onto the HD, then install it the
Portege and boot/install from there?

My 3020ct came with afloppy drive, so I simply took my 25 +/- Win95
diskettes from my L50 and installed it on the laptop. THen I added a 3C589
network card, and downlaoded everything else I needed...

I really like my laptop - which hitechcafe.com now has on sale for $479 w/96
Meg RAM, P/300 CPU, 6.4 Gig HD (no OS).

A very reasonable deal, IMHO.
