Subject: Libretto L1?
I think one of the reasons there is not much discussion about the L1 on this list is
that it would be hard to truly classify the L1 as a Libretto, size-wise. It's more
like a regular notebook. It is not very interesting to me for that reason.
Too bad they didn't retain the same size or slightly smaller than the 100/110 series.
No one at Toshiba asked *me* about it... <grin>.

Of course, Toshiba is selling in Japan a new Libretto L1.
For some reason there is more discussion about this
on the Sony PictureBook forum and mailing list.
A bit larger and thinner than PictureBook.
Has a Limited International Warranty.
Starts selling in Japan 2000-05-18.
US introduction 2000-05-25 at Dynamism TruePrice(tm) US$ 2499.00.

I do not know much about UK politics, but
would a screen from a dead Libretto 30 work in Libretto 50?

I have a contact whose Lib 50 has now got a cracked screen, and
he is looking for another Libretto.
If anyone has one (will consider any model) that they are looking to
sell, I am interested.
And (I know this is as likely as William Hague being the next UK
Prime Minister) if anyone has a Lib 50/60/70 that has broken down
but whose screen is OK, I am VERY interested.
Please let me know.
