I hope you're not planning to leave with one or 2 charged batteries and
having it work like that. First off, an extended battery on a L50 might work
almost 3 hours at a clip just off charge. That does not mean you could use
it for 12 quarter hours, 15 minutes a day for 12 days. Rechargeable
batteries simply don't discharge linearly. They self discharge, and the
action of starting the computer will also suck a lot of juice too...
Maybe you thought of this but the way I read your question it seems you are
going off the power mains for 3 weeks.
On the other hand, a big expensive solar cell might keep things topped off
nicely.
