3.3V uses the same pins as the 5V but each card uses voltage detect
pins to indicate the voltage that the card wants.  So most devices can
support both.  I was under the impression that the Libretto could do
both but I have only tried 5V cards in my Libretto because they were
more available.

Also cards can be keyed so they don't fit into an unsupporting
system.  I forget the details.  I think 5V may always be supported but
3.3V is optional.

Also some cards use 12V but on different pins thean 3.3V and 5V and
those are limited to really old flash cards as far as I know.
