My old standard battery that came with my original Japanese L100 did that
for me two years ago.

My second battery recently did the same thing to me (standard battery bought
two years ago).

The life of your batteries has come to end. I bought a new enhanced battery
two weeks ago for $130 and it works. I guess battery dies in one or two
years (based on usuage) no matter how many batteries you have in hand to
rotate.

No need to try. Just buy a new battery.
