Last week I posted a problem I had with a new Libretto I just got.
"The only problem I have now has to do with the power system. The a/c led
will only light when the machine is on, not like my other L100. The battery
led only lights when the unit is on and the battery charged, again not like
my other Lib. The battery will charge. I have swapped batteries, a/c
adapters and the switch module (FLIMC2) from another unit with no change."
I never got an answer, but I was able to trace the source and correct the
problem myself.
The problem was in the wire harness for the lid (FPC HARNESS). I swapped
components from other systems and when the problem stayed with one lid I new
that the harness was the culprit.
I hope this information may help someone else.
