There's only one club - it's just that not all the members have actually met 
yet :)

It started two or three years ago when I discovered Paul Bristow (IIRC!) was 
going to be at the same electronics exhibition as me and we met up. Because 
I have the sort of job that has me hopping on and off planes at frequent 
intervals, I started posting when I was going to be where...so far the 
membership extends to seven or eight people I've actually met.

p.s. - intoxicated, no. Jetlagged, yes. Knocked off a fifteen hundred word 
short-short SF last week - now I have to see if Analog wants to buy it!
