Hi all! Has anyone else tried adding an electret microphone to the Libby50CT using the method described in http://www.fixup.net/tips/mic.html ? I've just tried it and the results I've had are, to say the least, disappointing ... the best I could do is get it to pick up my tapping on the side of the case but not much else ... I think the long wire runs have also injected a lot of noise into the audio circuit (even when I've muted all external inputs) ... anyone got any ideas before I rip the whole lot out? On a different note, does anyone know if excess moisture from thermal grease causes any deterioration in the casings of mobile processors? I think I got a little too enthusiastic about filling the gap between the processor and heat plate with the stuff ... - Raymond --- /~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\ | | "Does fuzzy logic tickle?" | | ___ | "My HDD has no reverse.
