I do know that WinME and Win2k both have had changes made to the IrDA support .. for
these 2 OS's you really need to download the appropriate drivers from the cellphone
manufacturer to get them working. I'm not familiar with the Cingular brand, if their
website doesn't have modem drivers for their cellphones perhaps you can try
downloading the drivers for one of the Nokia phones and tweaking the settings as
appropriate since most of those phones should share a basic set of commands (bear in
mind they are NOT standard AT commands used by normal modems) ... I've got my Nokia
8210 working fine under Win2k, 95 and 98.
