Somebody has it in for my body clock! Man oh man... got a bio-rhythm adjustment regimen for frequent flying? >Did you get that fuse fixed? Oh gosh... I won't begin to lay out everything that has dropped from under in the past few weeks, mostly before the 11th, making all that a whiloe lot more weight more weight. I did get on the phone to call around Tampa to locate fuse wire... but Pres, though being a bit overly cynical (well, maybe just 'a bit cynical' is better... though he's accurate) about life in Florida, was quite right about a lot of what I find, in my own experience, to frequently be the case here in Tampa. It turns out that the last decent electronics supply shop in the Tampa Bay pulled out last year. All the shops I called admitted that there is really nothing left as far as a well stocked electronics supply shop. I feel compelled to comment at length at just what (IMHO) a catastrophe the Tampa Ice Palace WTC tribute turned to be the other night, but I'll just leave it at saying that it was immensely disappointing. I shouldn't make comparisons, but the fine Yankee Stadium memorial service left me in a spot at the Tampa tribute where I just had to endure the agony for the sake of keeping up appearances amongst my brother's friends. But I was just on my way out to go hit Radio Shack... To heck with waiting for help, and asking for a lend of tools. I'll go get a cheap iron and see if I can pull the wire out of the glass fuse I was given by my brother's helpful friend who brought the multimeter when I was too dumb/shy about asking him to bring an iron too. By the time the war's over... I should have the little kitten purring!
