Hey Pres,

I see you, or someone did in fact get those modifications set up (Who
maintains the list anyway? I should know this at this point! -blush-). It
looks great, except that I forgot (or more likely screwed up the revision
because of ADD or something) to include the word 'with' in the line: "Then
replace any text on the message's subject line with: cmd:unsubscribe"

I was going to do that, but I didn't want to add a bunch more lines, and
make the whole tagline set a good deal larger. But you're right.
Understanding human psychology, and gearing projects for the LCD is always
important to achieve the maximum success in most endeavors that concern
interaction with numbers of people.

A lot of people have no idea what mailto means... let alone that it is an
HTML tag or just what HTML is, even though the concept "mail to" seems
pretty obvious huh? But to set up something that people with so many
different psychological make-ups will be able to comprehend easily and
quickly, instructions really have to be succinct, short as possible, and in
a simple language that the most illiterate have a chance of grasping. Of
course you're right indeed... a "CLICK HERE, DUMMY" would in fact help...
sans the character reference which undoubtedly would end up screwing things
up somehow.

>It's hard to make things foolproof, because fools are soooo determined.

Well... we can try for the sake of compassion if not for much else. If it's
not too much trouble to add the 'with' I forgot, an essential element in the
B. F. Skinner approach I was attempting, maybe we'll have at some degree of
success!

Cheers,

Shel, aka Matt for those as confused as I am.
