Hi all! Has anyone else noticed that on the Libretto 50CT (and presumably the 60 and 70 models) both Fn-F10 and Fn-F11 both produce the effect of 'num lock'? (although unmarked, it turns out the key block bordered by the keys 7, 0, M and / do in fact form a numeric keypad when numlock is activated or the Fn key is held down, just like a 'normal' laptop keyboard)? For that matter, the manual for my 50CT doesn't even MENTION the presence of the keyboard overlay or the fact that Fn-F12 appears to be scroll lock (certainly the only keys marked for overlay on this lappy are the arrow keys). Does anyone else's manual mention the existence of this overlay? - Raymond P.S. for those of you who may be a little confused (unlikely but I'd better cater for the LCD as Matt put it), you can use the 'mskey' utility that comes with Microsoft keyboard drivers or any number of DOS based diagnostics tools (such as sysinfo(?) from Norton Utilities 8 for DOS) to determine what keys emulate what on a full sized keyboard (based on scancodes). Alternatively just fire up Notepad and see which keys behave funny (but then you won't catch the num lock or scroll lock keys as there aren't any lights for them on the Libretto!). ************************************************************** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://libretto.basiclink.com/archive - Archives http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/portable/faq.html - FAQ -------TO UNSUBSCRIBE------- Reply to any of the list messages.
