Bleh ... I keep forgetting to mention things ... apparently it was that easy because I'd already installed Microsoft's IrDA enhancements for Win95 (I made a vain attempt to get it to talk to my Win2k desktop through IrDA only to find that Microsoft pulled that support out of Win2k). If you don't already have it installed then the driver install will complain and fall over (I think it recons it has the required files when it doesn't), just pull the necessary update from support.microsoft.com (search for W95IR). I'd imagine it'd be the same deal regardless of the phone you choose anyway. Of course, if you're one of these ____ people who run Linux on their Librettos *waits for all the flame mail* then good luck! Speaking of which, has anyone found a good (ie. reasonably good transfer speed) way of connecting a Win95 Libretto to a Win2k or WinNT box WITHOUT using a network card ie. using parallel cable, serial cable or IrDA? - Raymond ************************************************************** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://libretto.basiclink.com/archive - Archives http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/portable/faq.html - FAQ -------TO UNSUBSCRIBE------- Reply to any of the list messages.
