Specular! Thats the word I was looking for. 

Bear in mind that a piece of white paper is quite readable in bright sunlight so going 
much brighter would be a waste of time. Even counting for the reduction in intensity 
due to the panel you'd still have quite a readable screen (imagine reading in bright 
sunlight with dark glasses on - its still quite easy). I do fail to see however how 
one could turn the Libby's screen into a reflective screen without destroying the 
function of the backlight unless one was somehow able to get the backlight to diffuse 
off the paper ... perhaps all this is just going round in circles ... hehe
