Depending on how portable you wanted the setup to be (and presuming you were willing 
to go the USB route), it'd *probably* be cheaper to get something like the Belkin 
USB-VideoBus(?) which delays both sound and video equally but has no tuner, then a 
really cheap VCR (or rip the tuner circuit out of a VCR who's tape drive is no longer 
working). You could also watch videotapes as well with such a setup and there are VCRs 
around that'll run off 12 volts (don't ask me where, all I know is I've seen them ... 
hehe).
