any and all 9.5mm or thinner 2.5" HDs listed on my site below will fit the L110 just fine. no modifications required (the spacers were re: the L20-70 models). if you use a >8.4GB HD, you'll have to leave some unpartitioned space around the 1023 cylinder boundary to prevent data from being overwritten by hibernation data. you may also need a disk manager program - i recommend either an IBM HD with free Disk Manager at www.storage.ibm.com or any HD + Western Digital EZ_Drive 9.09W which installs EZ-BIOS 9.06 (works for me). the Hitachi 20GB one guy was/is blowing out on Ebay.com is a great buy.
