Otherwise, using Symantec.com Ghost, simply connect Libretto to Desktop, run Ghost on both, then restore image from desktop to Libretto over parallel cable. You can create an image the other way to the desktop as well. Takes a few hours to overnight, but you simply start it going before you go to sleep. 2) Same as above, but using PCMCIA Ethernet card that has DOS drivers on the Libretto, and same for the desktop. Then, connect using PC-to-PC ethernet cable, run Ghost and off you go. 3) (for Libretto 100+ with USB port only) Same as above using USB PC-to-PC cable in DOS. http://www.symantec.com/sabu/ghost/ghost_personal/par_con.html 4) External parallel port HD device. www.h45.com Got one, works slow, but can easily be used to backup HD on Libretto over p.port w/o any problems at all. drivers simply make it another HD letter on the Libretto. Used this as well, works faster than p.port cable to desktop. 5) Maybe a big 256-512MB CF card? Don't recall what DOS drivers are avail. to make this work, but if you can see the card, there you go.... 6) and what he's talking about: boring $10 2.5" to 3.5" IDE HD converter cable, pull Libretto HD, put on converter, attach to desktop PC. Fastest method, requires pulling HD and opening desktop PC. ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
