Why even do that?? Just as I said if you are only wanting to share files you just both pullup hyperterm and one dial the other.. Why not use the built-in dial-up networking server found in Win98? You will have a virtual network, with file-and-printer sharing. It will be slow, but no slower than any other modem solution. In Win98: Start...settings...control panel...add/remove programs...windows setup...communications...dial-up-server Not sure about the other, newer flavors of Windows as to how to set it up. But the steps should be similar. You only need "server" on one end Thanks Pres Waterman, W2PW c/o 112 Motors, LLC Long Island Ford, Kia and Used Dealer GO BILLS! ************************************************************** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://libretto.basiclink.com/archive - Archives http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/portable/faq.html - FAQ -------TO UNSUBSCRIBE------- Reply to any of the list messages.
