You know I was thinking this would be the case but was unsure. Like I said its been about 2 years since even trying to track myself when using remailers hehe -----Original Message----- From: Adrian Ho [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Sunday, January 13, 2002 11:39 AM To: Libretto Subject: Re: [LIB] Virus Date: Mon, 14 Jan 2002 01:30:55 +0800 From: Adrian Ho <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: [LIB] Virus On Sun, Jan 13, 2002 at 09:19:19AM -0800, phillip ramirez wrote: > But looks like it orig from a 65.174.101.7 ip address All Libretto list mail passes through that address, and all Libretto list mail "originates" from psmtp.basiclink.com. This is because the Libretto "list manager" is actually a remailer that strips off almost all headers from the real incoming messages and sends out spanking new ones in their place. The only person who can track this down is the basiclink.com owner, assuming there are sufficient logs to do so. - Adrian ************************************************************** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://libretto.basiclink.com/archive - Archives http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/portable/faq.html - FAQ -------TO UNSUBSCRIBE------- Reply to any of the list messages.
