Nope~, I~m soaking up the rain in Bahia and only just got a cypercafe - 167 
emails :)

Re the linux installation - it looks like a lilo fault which suggests that 
lilo didn~t see the disk in lba mode.

But - recommendation - lose 8.1 and replace it with m7.1 unless you have 
apps which absolutely need 8.1 - 7.1 is between 3 and 10 times faster at 
*everything* on a 70, 8.1 and kde (in particular) is a memory hog :)

IceWm is a nice window manager, from login to desktop in 6 seconds...
