I bought one of these (back when this ebay seller only wanted $25) and then
modified it to work with a L100, using a 3-pin microphone connector set to
run the Lib either off DC power or off the AC adapter. I used it extensively
for a month in Europe with no problems, and use it periodically here with
GPS, but only from a vehicle's power tap. Sorry, no opportunity for airline
usage yet. Seems to be a good-quality device.

The output voltage measured OK, I can't remember now exactly what it was. If
you'd like, I'll check it tonight and let you know.
