I've just lost all access to my new 20GB Toshiba HDD, and short of getting that IDE adapter to slap it in a desktop, I'm stymied as to how to fix this one. I was sizing my 6th partition down with Partition Magic when PM burbed, reported an error in the process, and prompted me to reboot. I took the PM floppy out, rebooted, got the EZBios prompt to hold CRTL down to get the EZBios option menu, and selected the boot from A: option. Put the PM (bootable of course) FD in the driver and hit a key, but I got an error message telling the FD was not bootable, and said to insert a bootable FD! I've tried every boot FD I have, made a couple new ones to try, and all have the same results. Previous to this whole debacle, I had booted to a floppy, and re-formatted the current active partition from the floppy in order to install a copy of Win95 for testing purposes. So the present active partition is not bootable, and I can't get by EZBios to boot from the FDD! HELP... OH DO HELP, YE GODS OF SILICON DIVINITY!
