I'm using a utility which allows you to create keyboard shortcuts with the Windows Key, so for example Win+F opens the Find window by default, this allows you to set up your own, so Win+G could be for your GPS/mapping software. For you guys using Librettos in a car, don't forget you can create keyboard shortcuts for single keys, such as the Function keys. For example, F2 on my Libretto pops up the calculator. I have a whole stack of "Ctrl+Alt+somethingelse" keyboard shortcuts, and the way I do it is that I have a folder called "Quickeys" on the Start menu. Anything I want to have a keyboard shortcut to, I never never never set the keyboard shortcut properties anywhere else on the Start Menu tree, I *always* duplicate the shortcut and move the copy to my Quickeys folder - much easier to keep track of. I name the shortcuts something like "K = address booK" The way I use it is - with two hands:- - Ctrl+Alt+K And using one finger:- - Windows key (ie Start menu) - Q key (ie Quickeys folder) - K (ie "K = address booK") Works a treat provided "Quickeys" is the only item on the Start menu with a name beginning in Q, and you just have one shortcut per letter of the alphabet in the Quickeys folder. Of course, viewing the Quickeys sub-menu also serves as a pop-up "help" or visual reminder of what keyboard shortcuts are already set up - and it makes it very easy for someone else (who is not familiar with what you've set up) to use and learn. I also use duplicate shortcuts for all my non-Ctrl+Alt keyboard shortcuts (such as F2) and they go in a sub-folder within my "Quickeys" folder.
