Temperature: 35.8°C after 18 minutes (Scandisk finished) Xin Feng's site has had discussions on the effect of the enhanced port replicator on temperature, and consequent damage to the Lib. The L100 I have was previously owned by an executive at a local engineering company who, according to the company tech, ran the Lib docked (EPR) 100% of the time, unless he was on a road trip. In about 2 years' time, this Lib went through 2 memory modules and 2 hard drives (both Toshibas). These were all installed by an "Authorized" Toshiba service outlet. I have had zero problems of this type in a year of ownership, with very infrequent EPR docking. FYI.
