Subject: FLASH!!! L50M Touchscreen verified for REAL! Exists!!

http://search.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/search/auc?p=libretto+50m&alocale=0jp&acc=jp

Meiji Insurance company in Japan had these custom made by Toshiba for use by
their staff.

No mouse button as you can see in various pictures of these L50M's, and
everything's touchscreen operated. Same peripherals as the L50.

----

If you do buy one, make srue they include the original Japanese OS and
Touchscreen drivers!

david =)

P.S. sigh.... being outside Japan here in sunny S.Cal (well, actually rain wet
right now), I'm very sad that I can't order these L50M's since everything on
the auction pages are in Japanese, and many don't ship internationally....

P.S.2. Speaking of which, anyone out there in Japan willing to act as an
auction go-between for the L50M and even more items? There's a lot of fun
items for me on Yahoo Auctions, like Mizuki Arisa phone cards, and sadly, most
of them want Japanese bank/postal transfer payments and shipping addresses.
Naturally, you'd have to bid on items for me, but I'd pay for them in full and
offer something extra for the time spent. (Don't jump at my offer if you
aren't up on bidding, or don't want to bid on dozens of phone cards ;)-
Is there even a commercial service for this?
