Subject: Re: [LIB] Another UK PA2503U battery supplier..

I've got a PA2503U (high capacity pack for the L100) thats stamped 981104AP ... I just
ran the following test on my L100 and got just over 2 hours and 40 minutes out of it
(timed from when I pulled the AC plug till it shut itself down).

Windows 98, everything on, high power on the 'hairy lightbulb' (full CPU power, full
brightness)
Rain 2.0 installed
Running Winamp in continuous loop (so the HDD is always working)
Bromax iPort 10/100 Cardbus NIC installed and active
20 gig Fujitsu hard drive, 64 meg RAM, not overclocked

I'm pretty confident I can get over 3 hours out of it using it carefully ...

On another point, anyone know how to get the approximate time left under Win98? I know
the libby has the hardware to calculate this based on current power usage ... when I
run apm under Linux when the disk activity is high I get say 2 hours remaining and
when the disk activity stops I get 2:10 remaining for instance.
