Subject: ZV & L100

I've been trying to get decent VCD and MPEG-1 playback on my L100. Bought a
Margi MPEG-To-Go card to help smooth out the jiggles, but I am getting a
black playback screen when I use the card - audio is fine but video is
non-existent.

W98 properly detected the card on insertion, the Margi software installed
w/no glitches, and Device Manager shows the card w/no problems. I've tried a
VCD played through a CDROM, and a couple downloaded MPEG files, all of which
play (albeit stuttery) through Media Player. None display - but all are
heard - using MPlayer w/the Margi card.

So I'm wondering: do I have a bum card [ebay, new-out-of-box ;-( ], or
perhaps is there a Zoomed Video switch or driver for the L100 which I have
not discovered? Everything I've found seems to imply that ZV is sort of
automatic. (Margi requires a ZV PCMCIA slot to operate.) TIA for any tips.

Lee
