I'm still trying to nail down all possibilites for this CD-R/RW drive burn failure. One item on the very long list of checks at this point was a message in a Easy CD Creator error log that said: . Make sure that the CD recorder and the hard drive . are both configured to allow disconnect. Refer to . the property sheet for your CD recorder and your . hard drive. You can view these property sheets by . opening System from the Control Panel and selecting . Device Manager. Checking in the hard drive properties in Device Manager for the drives in both my L70 and L50, the 'Disconnect' option is grayed out. Does anyone know if this is common with most HDDs in Libbys, or notebooks in general?
