Probably just means it has a sensible BS1363 three-square-pin plug instead 
of the German Schuko type. Both countries use 230V, allegedly, it's just 
that we crank it up a bit and the Germans crank it down a bit.

If it's a switchmode PSU it will probably work well on 110V, but if it's a 
transformer type, you're probably out of luck. You can get transformer 
adaptors, but you're probably as well off taking a trip to radio shack.
