I've read arguements for conditions where regulating the swap file is 
preferred, and for those where letting Windows control the size.  I tried 
setting it to a constant value and found for most uses, leaving Windows to 
control the size worked better for me.  Guess it's a matter of relativity, 
and what the odds are of specific events occuring in your particular 
continuum.
