Make that the FAT16 code in Microsoft's implementation of io.sys can only 
see 32k (?) clusters (which puts an upper limit of 2GB on a FAT16 
partition). WinNT based implementations can see 64k clusters which lets 
them use 4 gig FAT16 partitions. It is quite possible that some other 
implementations of DOS can see 64k clusters (and hence 4 gig FAT16 
partitions) though ... tried seeing of DrDos or PC-Dos can see such 
partitions? I think you can specify the cluster size when you format for 
FAT16 under NT/2k/XP (even if the partition isn't 4 gig in size).
