using access4less.net today with their $5.95 plan. sought it out using www.freedomlist.com list of free & cheap ISP plans with user reviews. used https://www.ibilling.org/a4l/flspecial.htm to bypass the signup fee. --- notes: 1) get the phone number access list from access4less's website first. 2) try logging on with user: test password: test to see if it works for you. Don't know why they let anyone use such a simple logon w/o paying, but figure be honest and use it just to test the connection reliability and rates before you signup. most ISPs would be worried to bits that an open account was left open like that - and with such an easy password.... 3) Not bad - pretty fast d/l speeds for me pretty much maxing out my poor phone line. (Worse is I can't get DSL in my area for whatever reason! =( Only sucky cable, and I ain't letting them punch more holes to get a silly cable in.....) --- Anyways, too bad the latest 3G wireless web services from verizon and sprintpcs are $99 / month unlimited. That's about $50 too much... would be nice to surf faster than a modem anywhere in Los Angeles however.... guess i'll have to ask for another pay raise! ;) d =) PS. For all those that read this far, ask ford for their expedition 2003 catalog. tell them you got a sucky car, will buy in 1-3 months or still undecided, and wait. If you're like me, you get a test-drive certificate for $75 just to drive it once around the block!! crazy! Oh, well, guess it's easier to test drive than to work nowadays ,) ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
