it even looks like that you can order individual cells (changed recently):
CGR17670HC 3.7V. 1250mAh 17.0mm 66.7mm US$7.40
I also understood that they will place soldering things on the batteries if
you ask.
If you don't want to solder you can also order a 70ct battery pack at
E-Bay. The electronics and batteries are supposed to exactly fit into the
100ct casing.
