I'm running 95 ver. 4.00.950a (I think thats it....), with the latest BIOS (6.60). Are you familiar with partitioning? Have you ever run a program called fdisk ( a system program ) ? Sounds to me like someone may have partitionied the drive as 399MB. There may or may not be a second partition ( d: drive ) visible to you. You can boot from a system floppy and run fdisk to see the available partitions but if you change them using this tool you will lose all data on the drive. If this is the case, there's not much you can do except run a program called Partition Magic or its equivalent to reset it back to 810MB.
