Subject: Problems recording audio with L100
I'm having problems figuring out to get this L100 to record audio. The way
I did this with the WavJammer sound card on the L70 was to double-click the
volume icon in the system tray, got to Options>Properties. The make sure
'Line' and 'Microphone' are selected and click the 'Recording' radio button.
But when I select either the microphone or line-in, I get no signal. With
the mic, I'm asuming the internal mic should pick up my voice at this point.
But it doesn't. With the line-out from a a portable CD player plugged into
the line-in for the L100, and line-in selected in the recording window, I
still don't get any signal.
When the >IS< a signal present, the area to the right of the recording
volume slider will display the signal strength. These things can be tricky
sometimes. Can anyone who's done this help me out here?
Thanks,
Matt
Oh...I also saw a download at the Tosh driver page for a sound utility of
some kind. Maybe I need to install that.
