Anthony,

The 70CT has a 16 bit bus that does not support USB. You'll have to go for at least the 100CT to get a Libretto with a 32 bit bus that will support USB. You'll also need either the extended port replicator or a USB PC card as a USB interface.

Subject: newbie question...

Hi
I am new to this list. Actually I am getting my first Libretto as a
Christmas gift. I look forward to my 70ct.

So, I am going to use it as a midi controller for several keyboards.
I
own a USB midi box that I would like to use with it and have
subsequently bought a 2-port USB-pcmcia type 2 card. The card says it
is a 32 bit device. Will this work in a 70ct? If not, can anyone
recommend a USB-PCMCIA card that will work? I ask this because I read
on a particular web site the the PCMCIA port is 16 bit.

thanks for any help.
Anthony
