I'm with you on that. Also, set your colors to high 16 bit or even better to 256 unless you have a reason to do otherwise. I don't think you will notice a difference between 16 bit and 24 bit and will save even more memory. Another tip you can do is to make sure you don't have any useless junk programs running in the background.
