1. OS - This 50CT has the factory-installed Win95 (no install disks, =
though).  I'm more used to using Win98 at this point, and would like to =
hear pros/cons of 95 vs. 98.  This machine has 32MB, and I plan to =
overclock it to 100Mhz or 133Mhz.

I may hear dissension on this, but I'd guess at this point the majority opinion is that W98 is really worth putting on the L50. It was said that W95 was more stable, but early on I had W98 installed on my L50 and loved it. It has more up to date drivers, and some nice OS tweaking utilities. And after a bit of settling in, I had gotten in working darned well.

Now as far as Win98SE on this L100, it's a whole different story. Some people haven't had problems... but it's been really glitchy. Am looking to o/c and install XP.

2. Wireless LAN card - I run a wireless network, and plan to add a =
wireless LAN card to the 50CT, and I'm wondering whether there is any =
difference in the PCMCIA wireless LAN support between 95/98, i.e., =
compatibility, drivers, etc.
