>From what I can remember, there was a time when the L100 came with a 2Gig, but they were advertising it with a 1.4Gig (I THINK because they wanted to differentiate it from the L110 with the 2Gig), so they limited it in BIOS. Search the Archives, the info should be there. You basically need to either load an older or newer version of the BIOS to see the entire drive. I'm not sure if the "extra" space will magically appear, or whether you will need to back up the HD, then install the new/old BIOS, then reformat and restore your files. My L100 has a 20Gig in it now, no problems, but I don't have it here with me to see what version of BIOS it is running, sorry.
