I wrote a Mail about my experience with Orinoco: ---Begin--- Hi Chester! 2 years ago I have set up a wireless link with an Orinoco Access Point AP-500 and an Orinoco Silver card in a PCI-adaptor. In this time it was a very expensive solution, but the only one which did really work - stable, reliable, a high effective througput and with external antennas over a large distance (close to the specs... 8-))) Since then this link is on 24x7, without any troubles. I have also tryed the Silver card in a LIB 110 with W2K - no problem, runs perfect! regards Gerhard ---End--- I didn't get back my own mail from the list. My provider blocked it with a message "illegal mail header - suspect to contain a virus" Then I got also the garbled text message from the list (from Dave Grebe).
