Subject: USB 2.0 transfer speed on the L1xx systems
I was hunting around for info on USB 1.2 and 2.0, and was wondering just what kind of transfer speed USB 2.0 would provide given the architecture of the buses on the L1xx models.
Looking through the archives, I only came across the post from David Hettel below that adresses the same issue.
Has anyone worked this out by any chance?
Matt

I use 2 different USB2.0 cards in my L110, both seem to work fine (though they
require the damned PS2 power tap to power my IBM DJSA220 20Gig HD, #$*%)
Got both the 2port and 4port from http://www.compgeeks.com Use coupon code

I don't know what the minum mhz required for this card is, but my bet is the L100 is not close. Also most of these card want a large amount of ram to work with. A Cardbus slot is just a small part of supporting a USB 2.0 device. David Hettel
