If you're good with a soldering iron (and feel comfortable soldering to surface mount boards), you could go to www.raybot.net and follow the link to my Libretto 100CT PS/2 mod page ... gives you standard PS/2 mouse and keyboard ports without needing a docking bar and with no additional software required, and leaves your PCMCIA slots free. If you're not so good with a soldering iron, I've also included a link to Xin Feng's page, he'll do the mod for a charge (not sure how much) ...
Cheers!

P.S. Yes, I've been pretty silent on the list for the past 2 months ... been busy as all heck with summer project (I'm a final year EEng/CS student) ... so expect to see replies to old posts coming in bits and pieces over the next few weeks ... heh

Consider getting a Logitech USB/PS2 optical mouseman traveler ($3 after rebate)
or a Kensington optical travel mini-mouse (about $15 at CompUSA). The Kensington
also uses the USB port or a PS2 port. I've used it for 2 years and I like it,
it's easy to pack and goes right in my L110 carryall. I just got the Logitech so
I can't report on it but I've used their full size mice with no problem. I also
use a flexible roll-up keyboard that works very well too. Lightweight, USB port
attachment, easy to pack and good touch have made this a great addition to my
Libby travel kit! Those two additions makes the Libby so much more flexible to
use.
