Hi Raymond

Thanks, this is very useful. I tried looking in the archive, but there is so much to search through!
Can you tell me why I need to partition first? How many partitions? and which setup files to copy ?

Subject: Libretto help please

Hi all

I have reformatted my hard drive and need to know how I get my libretto to recognise my Amacom Baby PCMCIA CD ROM drive so that I can re-install the OS. I have tried the CD drivers without success, Toshiba tell me I need DOS CD ROM drivers from Amacom. Amacom tell me that I need PCMCIA drivers from Toshiba to initialize card services.

Trying to track down Card and Socket services for DOS, make a CD-ROM boot disk, etc. tends to get *really* painful. The easiest solution by far would be to partition the hard drive with a boot disk in the libby, then pull it out and put it into another laptop or desktop (with a drive converter), copy the setup files across then put it back in the libby for the install.

Check in the archives for lengthy discussions on the topic :-D
