The best way I think is to use a LAN. you can set up a small network with a
hub or router and load software from another machine or downloaded from the
internet. I used mine to get e-mail, work orders from work while away, quick
small programming of phone systems even IP into a router (ITS SMALL ENOUGH
TO KEEP IN A TOOL BAG). I even used it to check the link speed of a
microwave dish we installed on the rooftop of Ritz Carlton in Pittsburough.
But mostly I used it for dataloging my 70 mustang I converted to fuel
injection. Its size is limiting but just the right thing sometimes, that's
why I went with a new Sony, Its a very good replacement for the ageing
Libretto.

Hi Chris,

Surprise surprise. I wasn't aware you were using one and part of this
mailing list. I was given a CT70 a few years ago and use it for short trips
etc but haven't gotten a scsi card so can't load programs from CD hence it
is limited in it's usefulness. Any choice tidbits of wisdom about it's
use. Great portability but a VERY small screen.

How is Mozambique shaping up?

Cheers
Terry

Hi all,

I just got a new Sony laptop and I don't need my CT70 for datalogging my car
anymore.
I've got both docking station and port replicator,110volt charger, two
batteries, case, 32mb ram, win 95, and a network card. I don't have the
floppy adapter. The thing looks almost new, both batteries are good and no
dead pixels.
Someone make me a good offer, They go for about 250+ in this condition on
E-bay I don't want to have to mess with though. I can send Pics.
Chris
