Subject: Overclock L50 problem.

I was able to take apart the L50. It turned out to have a P75, rather than
the hoped for P120. I cut pin 15, lightly coated the little square where
the heat shield contacts the CPU with heatsink grease, and re-assembled.
An engineer friend made a quick stab at dioding for 133, but stopped. We
decided that I should see how the first step did before proceeding further.
He also suggested that I sharpen my 15-watt RS soldering iron with a file so
that it would be easier to use.

Now, when I plug it in the green on light lights up, but when I press the
button nothing happens. I am going to take it apart and reassemble. Any
idea what might be going on?

Thanks,
Larry "hope its not fried" Fieman
