Only things close to the L size are: 1) Sony U-series. Japan-only import. Even smaller than Libretto and lighter, but you'll have to check and see if the smaller keyboard is useable for you. uses slower CPUs than #2 below. 2) JVC Interlink XP series. Japan-only import. Just a bit deeper than the Libretto 100/110 series, but otherwise about as small as you'll get in a small Libretto-sized notebook today that's useable (ie. has 1Ghz P-M CPU). see pictures of both at www.conics.net and www.dynamism.com ---- My pick? The JVC Interlink XP series. Older models go cheaper on Yahoo! Auctions Japan for $1000 or less (800Mhz PIII or so); newer ones go for $1500-$2000 (1Ghz P-M CPU). www.conics.net can bid on Yahoo!
