The CF harddisk idea seems pretty neat, but for more storage a 1.8" HD could be used. I was surprised to learn that the Sony TR-series (TR1, TR2, TR3) use a 1.8" HD to help get a better battery life. I keep thinking that the TR-series is the natural upgrade from the Libretto, but I still feel that I don't need the built-in optical media bay. Since the new 505-series now has a DVD/CDR and the Toshiba Dynabook is not sold in the US, there are not many choices left.
